Holland Staal supports Leergeld West-Friesland!

On September 14, we celebrated our 50+1 year anniversary. Instead of gifts, we asked our guests to support Stichting Leergeld West-Friesland, an organization committed to helping children who could use an extra boost. Thanks to all donations – and with an additional contribution from Holland Staal – our director Ben Verhoef was able to present a cheque worth €9,019 to chairman Martin van der Raad.

Leergeld West-Friesland ensures that children get the chance to participate and explore their talents, regardless of their financial situation at home. So far this year, the foundation has supported 1,419 children with school supplies, sportswear, and club memberships – for which more than €164,000 has already been spent.

Because today’s youth is tomorrow’s future, it felt only natural for us to support Leergeld. At Holland Staal, we also believe in creating opportunities for young people. As an accredited training company, we help students grow, learn, and develop their skills. Currently, we are mentoring four motivated BOL students, each building a solid foundation for their future
