Special and/or Sensitive Personal Data We Process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over the age of 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. Holland Staal B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:

We always enter into a data processing agreement with these external parties (processors) to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data. We use the following parties for this purpose:

• Sixtyseven: This partner provides web hosting, technical maintenance and secure storage of our website data.
• Cloudflare: This service is used through our hosting partner to protect our website against cyberattacks and malicious automated network traffic (legitimate interest). Cloudflare processes network data such as your IP address. Data may be transferred to the United States; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of protection.

We will not otherwise provide the data you have provided to us to other parties, unless this is legally required and permitted. We may also share personal data with third parties if you have given us prior written consent to do so.

Cookies, or Similar Technologies, That We Use

Holland Staal B.V. uses functional and analytical cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. Holland Staal B.V. uses cookies with a purely technical function. These ensure that the website functions properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to ensure that the website functions properly and can be optimised.

In addition, functional Cloudflare cookies are placed through our hosting partner. Accessing, Correcting or Deleting Data

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with your request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
