The Power of Precision – Our New Voortman Drilling and Sawing Line

At Holland Staal, we believe in investing in smart technology that makes our work lighter, more efficient, and more precise.
Our latest addition is a Voortman drilling, marking, and milling machine, enabling us to fully automate the processing of profiles up to 24 meters in length.

This machine is one of a kind: it is the first of its kind in the Netherlands and, as far as we know, currently the fastest in its class worldwide. It can mark on four sides simultaneously and saw, drill, mill, and tap on three sides—with a level of accuracy and speed that was previously unimaginable. Thanks to the automatic link with the shot blasting machine, the material flow is fully integrated and requires no additional handling.

Our machine operator keeps the drill-saw line running continuously while also manually processing smaller profiles on the auxiliary saw. This smart automation allows us to handle more work, with greater control and fewer errors.
