A successful Masterclass Technology at Crescendo!

On March 19, the Masterclass Technology took place at Crescendo in Hoorn – an inspiring day where hundreds of students from the region got to explore the world of technology in a hands-on and engaging way. Holland Staal was proud to be part of this initiative.

Throughout the day, students from West-Frisian secondary schools visited the venue in time slots. Rather than listening to lengthy presentations, they were encouraged to actively discover various technical disciplines – from steel construction to installation technology, and from mechanical engineering to electrical engineering.

Starting at 2:30 PM, the event also welcomed other visitors, including job seekers, parents, and grandparents. They too had the opportunity to connect with local companies and experience the diversity of the technology sector in an accessible setting.

A special thank you goes to Joop van der Wal (Crescendo), whose ongoing dedication to promoting technology among young people truly embodies the spirit of the day.

The atmosphere was energetic, the turnout was high, and there were many meaningful conversations. At Holland Staal, we strongly believe in working together to shape the future of technology – and inspiring the next generation plays a key role in that.
