Holland Staal BV, located in Zwaag (Hoorn), is a leading producer of medium to heavy steel structures for utility construction and industry. We are active in the entire steel construction business chain: design, production, preservation, and assembly. Our primary working area is in North Holland.

Notable and structurally groundbreaking projects include the G-Pier and VIP Parking at Schiphol, rebuilding the Hoorn Theater, Datacenter Middenmeer, the Fokker Papendrecht headquarters, and the ABN Amro headquarters, All Weather Terminal’s and Falcon Terminal in Amsterdam.

On site Construction Steel Assemblers

(Steel Operator)

 

As a Steel Operater, you work in a team led by a foreman. You are responsible for mounting (steel) structures, stairs, and fences etc., often at heights. You are also responsible for moving or hoisting materials on the construction site and unloading trucks.

Requirements

• At least VMBO basic vocational education
• Preferably several years of experience in a similar position
• Welding certificate BMBE level 1+2 (preferred)
• Basic VCA (preferred)
• Certificate for Aerial Work Platform/ Safe Lifting (preferred)
• Knowledge of Dutch language in speech and writing
• Driving license B, preferably with E
