Our work on the entrance canopy of the AMC on Meibergdreef continues. We have already had a few days of beautiful weather this year, which has resulted in equally beautiful photos of this great project. The design also creates photos that are slightly more exciting than a straight-forward project.
Castellated beams with a length of 21 to 23 meters and a weight of up to 4 tons form the heart of the construction. They lean on four columns of 10 meters high with a diameter of 80cm. Also almost 4 tons in weight each. This forms ‘the heart’ of the new entrance to the AMC, which consists of an impressive interplay of building materials steel, concrete, wood and glass.
